Backpacking Lake Constantine
With my dissertation defense coming up on Friday (eek!) I’ve been working crazy hours and stressed as stressed can be. Part of me wanted to bail on a backpacking trip we had planned with friends last weekend, but I knew that 36 hours off the grid would do far more good than harm so we packed our packs and went on a ten mile hike to Lake Constantine in the Holy Cross Wilderness. We had perfect weather, an epic campsite, the girls found a beach to read and drink wine, and the boys had lots of opportunities to fish. There wasn’t much more you could ask for!
