2013 Wrap-Up
When I think of 2013, I think of my friends. As always, their love, friendship, generosity and kindness made my life richer, brighter and fuller. How thankful I am to share my life with such wonderful people (and since we’re skiing together this weekend, I’m going to keep this short).
This year involved travel to Vancouver, San Francisco, the Thousand Islands, Bozeman, Billings, Pittsburgh, Orlando and Vegas.
I turned 30, and got my doctorate.

I’m a doctor!
I landed my dream job, and celebrated my one year anniversary with my wonderful husband (a mathematician on a snowboard is my knight on a white horse). I even got a new niece!

This is a horrible picture of me, but I think it captures how excited I am to be holding her for the first time. Also, check out the blanket I knit her!
We hiked, backpacked, climbed 14ers, skied, snowmobiled, fished, and tried to make the most of this gorgeous place in which we live.
I got a beautiful new bike and maybe one day will really figure out how to ride it (hopefully in 2014 since there’s that whole Ironman thing). I even stuck with being vegan for breakfast and lunch (who knew that would last!).
We’re facing a huge life decision to be made this week and so I really have no idea what 2014 will hold, but with The Boy, Wally, and Tyke, I’m pretty sure that anything’s possible.
Happy New Year from ours to yours.
You came to the 1000 Islands? Canadian side? That’s where I live. 🙂
Our friend has an island in Gannonoque. Such a beautiful place!
Small world. I lived in Gan until I was 30. I now live just outside of the town. I grew up on the river. My kids are now having the experience of river life that I did. 🙂
