2014 so far (Mountains, Portland, Berkeley and CO Springs)
It’s been a crazy year…
We spent a week in the mountains with 8 friends skiing powder. It was epic and my current obsession is skiing bumps.
We spent a weekend in Portland mostly celebrating a friend’s imminent parenthood, but we also got to check out Stumptown, Voodoo Donuts, Powell’s (including the technical annex for geeks like us), and a bit of the beer scene.

We spent a weekend in Berkeley reveling in the sunshine, and eating so much very good food with smart people that we adore.
We hosted a friend and took a day trip to Colorado Springs where we summited Pike’s Peak and toured Garden of the Gods.

I did all of this while having walking pneumonia, which is the worst, and I haven’t worked out once this year. It feels a bit like Ironman is circling the drain, but I’ve tabled worrying about that because we’ve had so much else going on because…
