2012 in Review

It’s been a hell of a year. I think we did it all.

We got Wally.

Our newest addition

Our newest addition. Yes, he is as fluffy and dopey as he looks in this picture. He is one of the most wonderful creatures I have met.

We traveled to Tuscany.

The view from our balcony was more beautiful than this picture can capture.

I matched in Denver for my internship and The Boy started a new business.

We now have homes in Denver, San Diego, and Silverthorne.

We did tons of fun things like:

Backpacking

Climbing our first 14er

Flyfishing the Paradise Valley

Hanging out in Montana’s Gallatin National Forest

Driving the Beartooth Pass

Visited Grand Teton National Park

We got engaged.

I adore this spectacular man!

I adore this spectacular man!

And at least one other big thing that I’ll save to announce at a later date.

It’s been a wild, wonderful, unexpected ride. I have no idea where 2013 will take us or what our future holds, but I couldn’t be more thankful for such an exceptional partner, the most incredible friends, and a sense that the future is going to be exciting.

Wishing you and those you love a happy, healthy, and adventurous 2013.

XO,

Kat

Note: For those of you who read this blog regularly, you know that I usually make and keep New Years Resolutions (it’s how I did my first marathon and first triathlon). My goal for 2012 was to do all 90 days of P90X. I did about 35 before I tweaked my back walking the dogs. However, on Monday I did 55 real pushups consecutively in the middle of a crazy workout and since my goal with P90X was to increase strength, I’ll give this resolution a half a point 🙂
